The "House of the Witches" of Salem is the only surviving building of the trial of 1692
Jonathan Corwin's house in Salem, known as "The Witch House", was the home of the homonymous judge who celebrated the witch trials of 1692. He lived from 1640 to 1718, and bought the house in 1675, which became the his residence until the day of his death. Corwin was buried in the nearby Broad Street Cemetery. The house remained the property of the judge's heirs until the mid-nineteenth century, when it was finally sold.
