In California exist the Sisters of Marijuana
The Sisters of the Valley are no ordinary sisters: their religion is grass.
The Sisters of the Valley are not just any "sisters". To begin with, they are non-denominational. They wear the veil and practice spirituality, but are not affiliated with any of the churches around their home, in Merced, California. Rather, they are devoted to the healing power of cannabis.
The Sisters, which have become quite famous for their homemade ointments, tinctures and cannabidiol-based oils (CBD), are an active and important voice in the campaign for the normalization of grass — and for this reason over the years they have had their fair share of problems, including clashes with authorities and online shops banning their products.
But nothing was able to stop them. Although in the meantime the State of California has made their operation 100 percent legal, they continue to activism throughout the United States, working to "reunite the Earth with its suffering people."
